The University of Rochester Medical Center (UMRM) is pleased to announce the results of a study presented at its annual meeting of theAmerican Society of Anesthesiologistsand the American Thoracic Society’s (ATS) annual meeting in New York City.

Diclofenac is a highly concentrated drug. Diclofenac can be thought of as a lower concentration of diclofenac (micrograms). Diclofenac binds to protein in nerve cells, interrupting their functions and causing them to release diclofenac into the bloodstream. Diclofenac can then be combined with other drugs to produce a product that is sufficient to treat a wider number of conditions.

Do not use Voltaren Emulgel in patients with Cockayne or with Cockface symptoms if you have had a stroke or a heart attack within the last six months. Do not use Voltaren Emulgel in patients with Guiding symptoms if you have had a brain tumor (for example, optic or trigeminal neuralgia) or if you have a severe kidney, liver or heart failure.
Before starting treatment with Voltaren Emulgel (Diclofenac), it is important to tell your doctor about any pre-existing diseases you have been treated with, other drugs you are taking, other conditions you are currently considered to have, or have ever had any disease.
Use this medicine in the dosage prescribed by the doctor. You should you need to take the medicine about 60 minutes before you feel the benefit.
Inform the doctor if you experience any allergic reactions or if you develop other problems with the medicine. In such cases, discontinue treatment and see your doctor at once if you are not to take the medicine.
