Voltaren Arthritis Pain is an oral medication that provides temporary relief of arthritis pain (short term pain) by relieving inflammation of the joint. Voltaren Arthritis Pain is suitable for those with joint pain and swelling and those with mild to moderate arthritis.

For adults, the recommended dosage of Voltaren Arthritis Pain is 2.5 milligrams (mg) twice a day for 3 to 6 months. For children, the recommended dosage is 5 mg/kg three times a day. For adults, the recommended dosage is 2.5 mg twice a day. The duration of treatment with Voltaren Arthritis Pain depends on the condition being treated. Voltaren Arthritis Pain is used to help relieve the symptoms of arthritis. Voltaren Arthritis Pain works by reducing the amount of prostaglandins that are released in the joint, which may cause pain and swelling in the affected joint. Voltaren Arthritis Pain contains diclofenac, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Voltaren Arthritis Pain is also used to reduce pain and inflammation. The recommended dosage of Voltaren Arthritis Pain in adults is 2.5 mg per day.

Warnings

Before taking Voltaren Arthritis Pain, inform your doctor about your medical history, especially of allergies to diclofenac or any other medications. Diclofenac may cause dizziness and fatigue. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness or clear vision until you know how Voltaren Arthritis Pain affects you.

If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, call your doctor or the manufacturer’s information.

Voltaren Arthritis Pain is contraindicated in patients with a history of peptic ulcers (ulcers of the stomach or duodenum) or bleeding in the stomach (peptic ulcer).

Voltaren Arthritis Pain is only suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years. Voltaren Arthritis Pain is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

How long does it take for Voltaren Gel to work?

Voltaren Gel should not be used for more than 2 weeks at a time. It is best to use it for the first few days to 3 weeks, as the pain will go away after you stop using Voltaren Gel.

The most common side effects of Voltaren Emulgel are toothaches, gastrointestinal upset, breast tenderness, headache, dizziness, and diarrhea. It is important to let your doctor know about all the medicines you are taking before starting treatment with Voltaren Emulgel. Do not take Voltaren Emulgel if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), or any other medicines. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Voltaren Emulgel.

Drug Interactions

Voltaren Emulgel may contain other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as naproxen (Aleve® Naprosyn®), ibuprofen (Advil®,'), and aspirin. These NSAIDs may interfere with the effectiveness of Voltomax® Emulgel and increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. NSAIDs may increase the risk of bleeding in the stomach, increasing the risk of ulcers and stomach bleeding. If you are at increased risk of stomach bleeding or bleeding problems because of Voltomax® Emulgel use, you should not take the gel capsules without talking to your doctor before taking the gel capsules.

Use of Injectable Topical Pain Relief Medications

Voltaren Emulgel may contain medicines that make your pain worse. Most of the pain is not caused by swelling, redness, or blistering, but by the medicines that act on the skin. These medicines include medicines to relieve cold symptoms, such as flu symptoms, and medicines to reduce inflammation, such as diclofenac (Advil® ) and ibuprofen (Advil® ). These medicines work by reducing the levels of a chemical called cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes (x05) that are involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins. By reducing the levels of COX enzymes, Voltaren Emulgel can help relieve pain and inflammation.

Do not use Voltaren Emulgel if you are using it for the first time, have a history of asthma or other inflammatory conditions, or use other medicines to treat symptoms of heart disease, high blood pressure, or liver problems.

Description:Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength Gel is formulated to provide relief for acute, localized, minor muscle or joint injuries and contains diclofenac diethylamine, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
